  • AI API usage, including the volume and frequency of AI-powered features you use
  • Number of courses currently stored in your account
  • Cancellation flow analytics, including how you interact with the cancellation process and any responses you provide during an exit survey

When your account is deleted, your user ID is removed from this data. The remaining analytics are retained in anonymized form and can no longer be linked back to you as an individual. See Section 4 for more detail.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share your data with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Stripe

Your account email and subscription-related identifiers are shared with Stripe to facilitate payment processing and subscription management. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment information. Please review their privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

3.2 OpenAI

When you use AI-powered features within Horizyn, relevant input data such as course or syllabus content is transmitted to OpenAI's API to generate a response. OpenAI may process this data in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. We encourage you to avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI-powered fields.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a court order, government inquiry, or regulatory requirement.

3.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service if such a transfer occurs.

04

Data Retention

4.1 While Your Account Is Active

While your account is active, analytics data such as AI API usage, course counts, and cancellation flow data is associated with your internal user ID. This allows us to understand how individual accounts use the Service and to improve the product.

4.2 After Account Deletion

When you delete your account, we will permanently delete the following:

  • Your name and email address
  • All course and syllabus data
  • Any AI-generated content associated with your account
  • Your Stripe Customer ID, Subscription ID, and Price ID
  • Your internal user ID

Once your user ID is deleted, any remaining analytics data can no longer be linked back to you as an individual. This anonymized data, such as aggregate usage statistics and cancellation patterns, is retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at support@hrizyn.com. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional messages related to your account or subscription.
